What a month so far, and we're only half way through it. September, we love you!
Most visibly we're live with our new website, and it feels great. Not just beautiful, but easy to work with. A big thank you to Aaron Stocker for his help there. At times it was frustrating, but it worked out really well in the end.
Behind the scenes a bit more, we've been progressing fast on the new edition of Suzerain, which will be going live with the new Savage Worlds rules. I was in a rules design meeting yesterday and I'm delighted with the approach that team is taking. I think you'll love it too.
We've also had progress on the lore side of things. We have a solid draft of primer material for the Suzerain universe and on the 23rd century, one of two key realms we'll be focusing on for launch. The manuscript for the other realm primer is nearly ready too. I might have that tomorrow.
But that's not all. This last week has seen our first beta test group create characters and do all the prep for the start of their campaign, in the cyberpunk setting of Gatherall (part of the 23rd century of Suzerain). In the next couple of months that will be vital to helping us get another perspective on our progress, so thank you to Hammer and his players for taking up the challenge there.
Remember, if you want to participate in beta games, as one shots or a campaign, join us on discord and make yourself known. We'll happily fit you into our schedule of games. You don't have to have a local game group - you can also play on Fantasy Grounds with gamers on the internet.
Lastly, we finished the transfer of Savage Mojo from being a UK-based company to US-based. That took a lot of administration and a d12 in Bureaucracy, but it's an important step for us, allowing us to do a bunch of things we couldn't before. With that milestone hit, I've a few more hours each week to put into development on the new edition of Suzerain, and that's another great piece of news.
